FAQ's

Q: SHOULD I REFRIGERATE MY CUPCAKES OR CAKE?
We recommend that you avoid refrigerating our cakes, as it will dry them out. Our products are made fresh daily without preservatives and are best enjoyed on the day received. If you plan to keep your cupcakes longer than two days, wrap the bakery box in plastic wrap, or store the cakes in an airtight container, and leave at room temperature.

Q: CAN I CUSTOMISE MY CAKE ORDER?
Yes! We offer a variety of custom and seasonal decorations. We can also print your graphic on our sugar decorations – great for corporate gifts, weddings and special occasions. For more information visit the CORPORATE page (**at this stage there is not very much more information there) or call us to discuss.

Q: CAN YOU DO CUPCAKES FOR MY WEDDING?
Yes! We cannot offer tastings, but you are welcome to come into the bakery to purchase cupcakes to try at home and discuss with us your inspiration and ideas. We bake, deliver and set up our cakes on the day of the event.

Q: DO YOU GIFT WRAP?
Yes! For the most ultimately delicious gift, we offer a cupcake gift-box containing a dozen cupcakes and wrapped with The Little Bakery’s signature ribbons. We can also add a gift tag with your own personal message.

Q: CAN I ORDER ONLINE?
Yes! Orders can be made online. Simply click on the ORDER button and follow the instructions. We will confirm your order by email, and payment is made by Electronic Funds Transfer.

Q: HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?
We request that you place your order at least 48 hours before it is required. We can accommodate most orders, however, the more notice we have, the better we will be able to fulfill your order.

Q: WHICH PRODUCTS DO NOT CONTAIN NUTS?
While peanuts and other tree nuts are not key ingredients in all our baked goods, everything is made in the same area where products containing various nut items are created. Though best practices are always followed in our cooking, inadvertent cross-contamination may occur.
